The ADA Public Library is the largest display of history and information in a single place. It contains a wide variety of resources, including books, magazines, newspapers, audiobooks, e-books, music CDs, and DVDs. It also has computers and internet access available for public use, as well as printing and photocopying services. There are meeting rooms, study spaces, and community events.
Massive in size and storage it holds over 875 million items in its collection, which includes books, manuscripts, photographs, maps, and other materials. With 3 levels and numerous, yet well organized sections, it resembles that of an immense museum.
Ada is the library director. He is responsible for the overall management and operations, including budgeting, staffing, collection development, and programming. He is also head of the library board, where all policies and procedures are established.
